Frequently Asked Questions

- What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about going Greek? Expand your horizons! Check out as many organizations as possible to make sure you find your home away from home.
- What does sisterhood look like as a member of LSG? As a member of LSG, it looks like finding lifelong connections and being uplifted by other powerful women. The experience does not end after college!
- Is it expensive to be a member of LSG? Not at all! We do not want money to be the reason why you can't join. Additionally, we offer payment plans and we can work with you.
- Do you do community service as a chapter? Yes! We love giving back to our communities! Each sister is expected to complete 20 hours of community service per semester.
- What career development does LSG offer? Within LSG you are able to pick up leadership positions that help you develop skills you can easily transfer to your resume. We also attend multiple professional workshops hosted on campus such as Time Management and Women in the Workplace. Furthermore, we have a strong alumnae network with who you are able to contact for academic and personal advice. Lastly, we have a Chapter Advisor, Melisa Lopez, who we meet with throughout the semester to ensure we stay on track with our courses.
